Bag opens and closes with a metal internal frame. This is a very sturdy bag that won't flop over on you, even when empty.

The outer bag is tapestry shabby roses with a gorgeous paisley accenting the sides. The lower is a dark red or light burgundy ornate heavy duty upholstery fabric.

Lined in ivory and taupe damask toile with floral pockets in a shabby floral like print, that I almost want to call it an art deco design. 

One side of the bag has 2 very large deep pockets that are concealed foam padded, 1 of which fits my Samsung tablet. The other side of the bag has 6 generous pockets in various sizes spanning across the width of the bag. A key clip is also included inside the bag attached to the lining. 

The bottom of the bag is absolutely super firm and will not cave in on you having a nicely padded board covered with the pockets fabric.

Bag measurements are:

17 1/2" wide

16 1/2" tall

7" depth between the front and back of bag

Super firm secure handles with 6 1/2" drop

Comes with an adjustable, removable shoulder strap. The longest the strap will extend is 54", the shortest it will go down to is 31".
