Polka Dot Quilt For Baby Boys In Boy Colors In A Staggered Design

I chose 2 coordinating polka dot cotton quilting fabrics for this boys quilt.

The darker one kind of resembles blue jeans, with tan polka dots.

The lighter one is a cream background with country blue, tan, and brown various sized polka dots.

Handmade in USA by Cindy for baby boys and toddlers.

The quilt is hand tied with a double layer of variegated blue crochet thread.

This adorable quilt measures 35 1/2" x 37".

The back of the quilt is plush minky dots in light blue.   

French binding finishes the edges of the quilt in a tan teeny tiny paisley.

The binding was finished with a decorative stitch.

All fabrics used in this baby quilt have been pre-washed to avoid any shrinkage.

This quilt has 4 layers.  The quilt top, then 2 layers of cotton fabric, last is the minky backing.  If I had used batting instead of the 2 extra layers of cotton, I felt the quilt would be much to warm for the baby since minky was used on the back.
